I'm still here....just been giving myself time away from everything to mourn my grandmother's passing. I still find myself wanting to pick up the phone and call her to say hi or referring to fresno as "grandma's home". It's slowly sinking in....

To get my mind off of things, I've also started working on one of my goals this year and that is to become a better cook (how that's going to work with my weight-loss goal? don't know!). We stopped by the bookstore and library...ended up with 6 different cookbooks & one photography book. I will be posting up pictures soon of my trials and erros. Until then....enjoy the summer days. They sure are rolling by too fast.

This song was played during the memorial slide show for my grandmother. Every time I listen to it......it takes my breath away.

Club Escape
"I'll Be There"

over Mountains
over Trees
over Oceans
over Seas
across the desert
I'll be there

in a whisper on the wind
on the smile of a new friend
just think of me
And I'll be there

Don't be afraid, oh my love
I'll be watching you from above
And I'd give all the world tonight,
to be with you
Because I'm on your side,
And I still care
I may have died,
but I've gone nowhere

Just think of me,
And I'll be there

On the edge of a waking dream
over Rivers
over Streams
through Wind and Rain
I'll be there

Across the wide and open sky
thousands of miles I'd fly
to be with you
I'll be there

Don't be afraid, oh my love
I'll be watching you from above
And I'd give all the world tonight,
to be with you
Because I'm on your side,
And I still care
I may have died,
but I've gone nowhere

Just think of me,
And I'll be there

In the breath of a wind that sighs
oh, there's no need to cry

Just think of me,
And I'll be there

sorry to hear about your grandmother, I know how much pain you're still in. I recently lost my uncle a few weeks ago and its still hard to believe that he's really gone.

Its good that you've picked up something to do. I need to get back to mine.

Anyhow I hope your summer is going well. Enjoy the nice warm sun rays.
